The planned programs and activities are depending upon the successful participation, cooperation and involvement of the TG's as they are from various regions, cultural backgrounds, religious views and education levels.

Challenge 2

The TG's hesitate to travel in the Government buses as they are mocked and looked down by others and it will take a long time to establish a harmonious understanding. Until then the TG's need to travel in groups by hiring auto rickshaws.

Challenge 3

For a long period of time they have been accustomed to a life with higher income by means of begging, dancing and in the sex work. At this time making them to leave their old profession and to take up new life style is a great challenge for them. So we need to visit them regularly to encourage, counsel and support morally by establishing friendship and trust.

Challenge 4

The gender reassignment surgery for TG's is normally financed by the regional TG's leader. So those who had undergone the surgery should engage in sex work in order to repay the surgery cost which is around 1.5 lakh's. After repayment of the loan only they can come out of sex work profession. The exposure to the high income in sex-work makes some of them to continue the same profession even after the loan is repaid.

Challenge 5

Many of the TG's are addicted to tobacco, alcohol, drugs and other substances. Rescuing them from those addictions requires medical, psychological, economical and spiritual interventions.
